Maple Rapids Lumber Mill
Incorporated September 6, 1973. We are a family owned business started by two brothers,
Richard and Kenneth Grubaugh, with several other family members employed for a total of 32
employees. We are a rough, green bandmill producing approximately 6,500,000 board feet per
year of hardwood lumber for the furniture industry. We are located 30 miles north of
Lansing at 6366 N. Forest Hill Road, St. Johns, MI 48879
Services
We are a complete operation. We employ our own certified timber buyers
and loggers. Well managed woodlots will improve health and productivity benefiting
wildlife habitat and property owners. Harvesting only the mature trees will insure future
growth and sales. We are fully insured and are looking for hardwood timber. Free
