Bucking
This is the term for cutting a piece of a tree’s trunk off of the tree itself. This can be in the form of a log or a shorter piece for firewood. Two additional tools must be used when doing this operation: wedges and an ax, hatchet or maul. ACTION vs. REACTION!!!---BIND!!!--- SHARP CHAIN!!!---WEDGES!!! These are the main ingredients involved with and necessary for successful Bucking. |
